Polymide Masking Disc
Polyimide masking discs, also known as Low static Kapton® masking discs, are primarily used in circuit board production, wave soldering and other applications where static charge is a concern. Low static polyimide masking discs are 1 mil thick with 1.5 mil of silicone adhesive.
Low static masking discs contain silicon adhesive, which do not leave any residue. Masking discs can withstand temperatures up to 500°F/260°C. They are packaged in a 3" core. Low static polyimide masking discs conform to MIL SPEC MIL-P-46112 Type I
